Students raise money for Livingston Activity Center

French Settlement High School students honored Down Syndrome Awareness month Friday by wearing blue and yellow shirts across campus.


The FSHS Senior Beta Club sponsored the free dress day, and they raised $234 for the Livingston Activity Center.


The Activity Center is a non-profit organization which provides vocational, recreational and educational opportunities for mentally challenged adults. The organization provides an outlet for challenged individuals who may otherwise face a more difficult time of gaining employment or enjoying social interactions with others.


The free dress awareness drive wrapped up a busy week for the Senior Beta Club as they celebrated National Beta Week.
