Sr. Beta Club collects hundreds of items for local nursing home

The French Settlement High School Sr. Beta Club is giving back to the community in a big way.


Sr. Beta Club members held a multi-week donation drive collecting items for Harvest Manor Nursing Home. Students donated a variety of items including socks, sugar-free candy, lotion and word searches.


French Settlement High School collected 312 items to donate to Harvest Manor. Sr. Beta Club members will now deliver the donations on September 10. They will also visit with residents during their visit.

While students were giving back to the community, it was also a friendly competition against each home room. The homeroom who donated the most items will be rewarded with a pizza party.


Mrs. Danielle Latimer's homeroom won the school challenge by donating 59 items to the collection drive.
