Senior Beta Club heading to nationals after strong showing at state convention

Several French Settlement High School Senior Beta Club members are eligible to compete at the national Beta convention in Nashville after placing at the state convention in Baton Rouge.


The FSHS Senior Beta club placed in the top five in 11 different categories at the 73rd annual Senior Beta Convention at the Baton Rouge Raising Canes River Center.


The beta club placed first in three divisions -- technology, painting and trading pin.


Betas across the nation will gather in Nashville, Tennessee for the National Convention this summer. All students placing in the top five at the state level are eligible for the national convention.
